Remote Aerodrome Inspection Services

Blacktail Aerotech provides aerodrome technical inspection and manual validation services for remote and regional aerodromes in accordance with the CASR Part 139.

We deliver compliant on-site inspections and reporting for both certified and uncertified aerodromes, with a focus on safe and effective operations in remote Australian environments.

Our Service

Aerodrome Technical Inspections: Conducting on-site technical inspections of aerodrome facilities to identify any deterioration that could affect safety, in accordance with Part 139 MOS requirements. This includes comprehensive assessment and preparation of inspection reports meeting regulatory standards.

Annual Aerodrome Manual Validations: Performing manual validations and producing the associated reports for certified aerodromes as required under the Part 139 Manual of Standards.

Remote & Regional Operations: Execution of inspection activities at remote and regional aerodromes, including coordination with aerodrome operators and relevant stakeholders, and the use of suitable aircraft to access isolated sites.

Inspection Scheduling & Reporting: Development of annual inspection schedules in consultation with aerodrome operators, with all reports provided to the aerodrome operator and the Department within the timeframes specified under Part 139 MOS. We also support the requirement for reports to be submitted to CASA as applicable.

Regulatory Compliance: All inspections and reporting are conducted to meet the technical and procedural requirements of the CASR Part 139 Manual of Standards, with appropriate personnel engaged to satisfy qualification and experience standards.
